Let's start off the week with a monday mashup. This time a student film which pairs the song Girls by Death In Vegas with 60s drug awareness films. It will be one of those weeks people, yes it will.
Well no surprise but D.Day Lewis won the best actor statue last night. The guy seems to pick the right roles huh? What I did not know was that the man likes him some milkshakes! or at least that is what this mash-up would have us believe.
TWBB and that Milkshake rap song by Kelis. I'd sing it, but I'd have to charge.
Why not on a rainy friday get dark and brooding with a mash-up of that cute lil' bunny movie Watership Down with the pure evil incarnate stylings of one Marilyn Manson. Sweet Dreams chilllldren. Wait. I just got it. Marilyn Manson is the kid-catcher from chitty chitty bang bang. it all makes sense now.
The creative and talented DJ Earworm has done us the favor of Mashing-Up the top 25 Billboard pop songs of 2007 and frankly, this proves the adage that the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. From Rihanna to Gwen, from JT to the Fray, it is all in the mix.
If you are going to take the time to do all the costuming and the sets and plan it out, you can at least do a story behind it. I was really excited to see this live action Spy vs. Spy CGM short but in the end, I was disappointed.
In installment #3, we see a middle aged man trying to teach others how to disco dance. So i put the statement out to you, the loyal readers...PLEASE SOMEONE! MASH THIS UP!!!!
UPDATE: Many thanks to user Poyla for being the first to take the challenge!
In the latest episode of Please Someone, MASH THIS UP! We look at the arcade wars of the 1980's and 90s and this truly bizarre video game battle short. This one is calling for a mash-up so get out your dry-erase boards.
