User Created Ancient Mysterious Art Via Sock

Nobody really knows why the famous statues on Easter Island were created and what they mean and the mystery still survives. Will we ever know?  Well the spirits behind them may be trying to tell us. Longtime reader HW sent us this photo which is totally creeping us out. As he dropped his sock to the floor after a long day of COBOL programming, it landed in this predetermined shape.

Well no surprise but D.Day Lewis won the best actor statue last night. The guy seems to pick the right roles huh?
What I did not know was that the man likes him some milkshakes! or at least that is what this mash-up would have us believe.

Ah, this is too funny to be true and yet...

It seems that there is a niche of people who film their car speedometer's  as they drive way too fast. 
Well one of these gents who filmed himself doing 130mph in his Honda Prelude in the UK did not expect that Scotland Yard would be monitoring the Intertubes and would use said video to suspend his driving privileges for 4 months. The whole thing was reported by the BBC and it seems that law enforcement is using the user video sites to catch law-breakers.  So watch out all you dimestore Lex Luthor's, big bro is watching.
