Green Day Oasis Mash

A very good audio/video mash of Green Day, Oasis, Travis, Aerosmith and a smidge of Eminem.  Had not seen this one before. Well done.

Everyday Tiger

I was thinking about that Nike commercial where Tiger does that amazing juggling act/trick shot. It seems he is not the only one with some fancy golf skills. The youtubes are filled with them! Here are few fun ones I found.

And of course, the original Tiger spot.

My 2008 Vote For Worst Song Remake/Video Ever

While watching some of Tony Palmer's extensive All You Need Is Love, I saw a music video clip from Glen Campbell's Rhinestone Cowboy. Of course I remember the song from the 70s but had never knew there was a cheesy video for it. Upon searching the youtubes, to my horror, I noticed that someone had done a hip-hop remake of the country track. Not only that, but Mr. Campbell himself appears in it singing the trademark hook in what must be a career low for the man of GC's Good Time Hour fame. I can only imagine the meeting, "Glen, rap is big, it's fresh, it's what all the kids are listening too. Let this guy remake it and it will revive your career!"

Well, it ends up being one of the worst songs and music videos ever made. The description calls it a 'hit single', but I cannot imagine 13 copies of this song was ever sold. So of course, I need to share it all with you!

Hippies Speak In Tongues

Growing up the child of hippies, I always wondered what it was they were talking about, especially after they emerged from the VW microbus with them red eyes. Thankfully, we now have a bit of the rosetta stone into this primitive language.
